What is LearningPulse?

LearningPulse helps educators analyze and make sense of the large amount of student work that is too time-consuming to analyze manually.

Teachers and administrators can upload hundreds of essays, lab reports, student reflections, or handwritten assignments and quickly see patterns in learning across students, classes, and grade levels.

By analyzing this authentic work LearningPulse reveals how students are learning and growing in real time and provides insights that traditional tests cannot offer.

Who is LearningPulse for?

LearningPulse is designed for classroom teachers, instructional coaches, department chairs, and administrators who want to understand student learning through the actual work students produce.

How does LearningPulse work?

Educators upload student work (typed or handwritten) → LearningPulse analyzes patterns → it summarizes trends, strengths, and areas for growth.

What kinds of assignments can it analyze?

LearningPulse can analyze typed or handwritten writing samples, science lab reports, project reflections, short responses, and essays. It works across all subjects and grade levels.

How fast does it generate insights?

Most reports are ready in minutes. Teachers can upload a full set of student work and be provided with a summary in minutes. However, the larger the amount of learning evidence uploaded the longer it takes to analyze it.

Does it replace teacher feedback?

Absolutely not. LearningPulse is a digital thought partner, not a replacement for teacher expertise. LearningPulse surfaces patterns teachers can use to guide feedback, instruction, and discussions with students.

For example, in classroom pilots, LearningPulse has surfaced insightful patterns and examples that teachers have shared directly with students to guide reflection and improvement.

Is this another new AI tool?

Not at all. LearningPulse does not create lesson plans or quizzes; it helps educators analyze authentic student work using AI responsibly. LearningPulse is built to support real teaching and learning by using multiple machine learning technologies.

Do you send data to Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic?

No. We never send data to any third parties.

Yes. LearningPulse can process hundreds of student submissions and show clear grade-level or school-wide patterns in minutes. You can spot strengths, areas that need support, and even look closer at specific classes or students.

Can I filter or compare results across cohorts?

Yes. LearningPulse lets you sort and compare results by grade, class, teacher, or student group.

You can explore how different groups performed on a specific assignment and identify strengths and gaps.

Growth over time can be viewed at the individual student level, giving teachers and administrators a clearer picture of how each learner is progressing.

How does LearningPulse help us show growth over time?

LearningPulse aggregates student work to display progress at the student, class, grade, or school level. It helps administrators visualize trends and identify where instructional adjustments might be needed.

Can LearningPulse integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. It integrates with Google Classroom and Google Drive, with more integrations coming.

How secure is student data?

LearningPulse is fully FERPA and COPPA compliant and does not share or sell any student information to third parties.

What is the typical implementation timeline?

Most schools start with a short pilot. A typical rollout takes a week or two and includes onboarding sessions for teachers and administrators.

Can we start with a pilot?

Yes. Schools can begin with a 90-day or full-semester pilot to see how LearningPulse performs in your classrooms/schools before committing to a full license.

For Teachers

Will this add more work for me?

No. LearningPulse is built to save time. Uploading student work is simple, and reports show trends you may not have time to find on your own.

How do I upload student work?

You can upload directly or use integrations like Google Drive and Google Classroom. Both typed and handwritten work are supported.

Can it handle handwritten assignments?

Yes. LearningPulse includes handwriting recognition technology that converts handwritten text into digital format for analysis (we recommend avoiding tri-lined paper for best accuracy).

Does it align with academic standards?

Yes. LearningPulse can align with state and national standards (including Common Core) and your own curriculum rubrics.

How can I use the results in my classroom?

Teachers use LearningPulse to:

Identify which students need enrichment or reteaching
Plan instruction or small-group work based on trends

Privacy and Data

Is LearningPulse FERPA and COPPA compliant?

Yes. LearningPulse follows all U.S. federal and state privacy regulations. Schools retain ownership and control of their data.

Who owns the data?

Your school or district owns all data and has full control over its use and storage.

Do you send data to third parties?

No. We never send data to organizations like Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic.

What happens to our data if we stop using LearningPulse?

All data can be exported and permanently deleted from our servers upon request.

Do you offer pilots or trials?

Yes. Schools can start with a semester-long pilot to evaluate impact before full adoption.

Are discounts available for multiple schools or districts?
